Gretchen Pressley

Gretchen Pressley is a first year journalism graduate student from Lubbock, Texas, the home of Buddy Holly. She got her undergraduate degree in communication from Texas Tech University, where she learned how to talk, then came to the University of Missouri to learn how to write. Her previous mass communications experience includes a public relations internship at Weber Shandwick in Austin, Texas, a writer and Web developer position for the Office of Communications and Marketing at Texas Tech, and a semester at the Columbia Missourian. She is interested in feature writing, religion reporting, convergence skills and reading way too much science fiction in her free time. She is addicted to her two gray tabby cats and hopes to someday stop having the urge to go back to school.
